Hola a tod@s y bienvenid@s de nuevo a un blog sobre Despacito Spanish Song. As you can see, we have a new section on our Spanish blog. Because to learn and improve our Spanish, not everything is going to be to study grammar and to do activities …. We also have many audio-visual resources that help us to practice Spanish while having fun and, in step, we expand our knowledge of Spanish-speaking culture! To help all the people who are starting to learn Spanish and also for those who already know it and who continue to improve it day by day, we will work the Spanish with a new song every week.

Cantantes
Empezamos por Luis Fonsi. Es un cantante, compositor y actor puertorriqueño. Tiene treinta y nueve años, nació en mil novecientos setenta y nueve en la ciudad de San Juan, al norte de Puerto Rico. Luís está casado y tiene dos hijos. Durante su carrera, ha ganado un premio Grammy Latino y varios premios Billboard de la música latina. Por supuesto, ha tenido muchos éxitos antes de «Despacito» y también ha compuesto éxitos para otros cantantes. Por su parte, Daddy Yankee es un cantante, actor y productor puertorriqueño de cuarenta años. Está casado y tiene tres hijos. También nació en San Juan, en el año mil novecientos setenta y siete. Empezó su actividad profesional en el año mil novecientos ochenta y ocho y continúa hasta hoy en día. Durante su carrera ha ganado numerosos premios, incluso fue nombrado «Latino del año» en dos mil ocho por la Universidad de Harvard.

La canción pertenece al estilo pop latino. Ha sido número uno en más de cincuenta países por todo el mundo y todavía sigue batiendo records de permanencia en las listas más importantes.
